My recent stay at Hotell Årstaberg was a mixed bag that had its moments of charm but also some notable frustrations. Situated just a quick train ride from central Stockholm, the hotel boasts a trendy Scandinavian design in a cozy setting, perfect for a weekend away with friends who share my love for exploration. I found breakfast to be a bit of a scramble, with the staff starting to pack things up well before the advertised time, which left my crew and me scrambling for the last bites by 9:45 AM.Despite the hiccups, I did enjoy the hotel's amenities, particularly the gym and sauna – a great way to unwind after a day of cycling around the city. Plus, the friendly cleaning staff really brightened the experience, even if the smoky smell in the hallways left us wishing for some fresher air. While Hotell Årstaberg has a great location and lovely facilities, it could benefit from improving its breakfast service and addressing the hallway issues. It’s perfect for those looking for a home base in Stockholm with friends, provided you’re ready to cope with a few bumps along the way!
